Epic Games’ battle royale beats the PlayerUnknown’s battleground in player count. Fortnite’s player count reaches up to 350 million in just three years. In contrast, PUBG is still struggling to have such a significant number.

  • MAP SIZE

Another distinguishing feature among these two big beasts is the difference between their map sizes. PUBG has larger maps than Fortnite. In PUBG, the Miramar and Erangel are the larger maps with 8*8 km. Being more prominent can be good or bad too. If you land far from the safe zone, you will need vehicles that alert other players.

On the contrary Fortnite small maps makes it less thrilling as you have less space to play the game. The games are shorter and end quickly, but small space makes it safer than PUBG.

Both of these royale games come with similar mechanics, but there are differences in visuals — the visual differences between likes and dislikes of the users.

PUBG visuals are near reality, while Fortnite is colorful, and its cartoonish appearance makes it unreal.

  • MOBILE EXPERIENCE

Both games have now gone mobile, a completely new version of these games. Fortnite is the winner here because Fortnite’s mobile version was available earlier than PUBG. Both games are available on iOS and Android. These games are free and offer you the whole experience of their PC counterparts. There is some difference when it comes to touchscreen and visuals. Another difference is PUBG supports iOS 9 and iPhone 5S while Fortnite supports iPhone6S and SE.

  • GAMEPLAY

These games are similar in a way that both are battle royales. Both are sam when it is about gameplay or goals. Both give you options to play solo games or with your friends. But then there comes a difference when it is bout items and weapons. PUBG is more satisfying of severe shooters than Fortnite.

The reason is PUBG has a lot more weapons and items than Fortnite, but it doesn’t mean that Fortnite is short on firearms. Fortnite gives a range from which you have to choose weapons. But don’t worry, Fortnite is adding more weapons as recently they added a minigun.,visuals

As we know that both are royale games, they have many similarities. Both PC games are available in mobile versions. The Small difference in visuals, number of players, and weapons allow you to choose what you like. PUBG, with more prominent space, weapons, and visuals, is closer to reality, while Fortnite is more like a cartoonish appearance.
